Sonya Lenzi’s extensive education in Interior Design brings a highly respected perspective to design projects. Sonya is a graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Interior Planning and Design. She continued her design education at Washington State University, obtaining a Master’s of Art (M.A.) degree in Interior Design with honors.
Sonya brings many years of combined experience in architecture, commercial design and residential design to each project. Sonya’s expertise encompasses all aspects of the creative process, from conceptual design, through final completion of the project. You can feel confident that Sonya will work closely and successfully with contractors, architects, consultants and subcontractors to meet and surpass your expectations.
Sonya is an active member of the Carol's Design House Tamarack Preferred Partner team. She has also worked on projects in several of Idaho’s prestigious resorts. Sonya has clients that not only come from Idaho and the Pacific Northwest, but also clients that hail from Connecticut, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Mexico City, Mexico.
Sonya wide scope of projects includes; custom construction residences, extensive home remodels, remodeled and furnished professional offices. She also has furnished many personal residences, condos, town homes, and chalets. No job is too large or too small for her.
Sonya is also an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Design), a member and supporter of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and involved with IDI (Interior Designers of Idaho.) Sonya’s interior design career and other interests still leave her time for support of her community, including mentoring and lecturing at local high schools, supporting & volunteering at the Idaho Botanical Garden, and the Boise Art Museum. She is also an active member of Boise Young Professionals organization.
Interior design is a constantly evolving practice. Sonya stays up to date on current trends and education is by attending AIA/IDCEC continuing education lectures, Furniture College at Century Furniture, High Point Market in N.C., and product introduction seminars. Sonya will provide you with incomparable interior design for your new construction remodel or home furnishings project.
In her personal time, Sonya enjoys working on her home; a 1910 Bungalow, attending art lectures, traveling, visiting art museums, and spending time with her family, friends and beloved dog, Lucky Girl.
