Monica Walker

Monica has been involved in Retail Management for over 10 years and has actively worked in the home furnishings and design industry for the past 8 years. Monica has an acute perception of color, fabric, and furniture as well as extensive experience with budgeting, ordering, installing and maintaining all objects that define a space. During the past 8 years, Monica has worked as an interior designer on residential and commercial projects throughout Idaho. She knows how to fulfill the dreams of her customers and make their house into a home.

Monica’s design instinct was borne from her slow migration around the US and an appreciation for the great homes in each community in which she lived. She is combining her love of beautiful homes with a Marketing Degree from West Chester University in Pennsylvania to fulfill her passion of making Idaho homes as great as those she knew growing up.

Monica soaks up the Idaho lifestyle as if she were born and raised here. She never experienced camping or whitewater rafting growing up, but to see her now you would experience her as a natural to Idaho outdoors. She is also a committed parent and volunteer within community.

Interior design must be sensible. Monica’s method of designing interiors is based on a practical and aesthetic approach. “I always imagine the experience of walking through a space and exploring what the response of the client will be.”
